Intro to Resident Camp
  • We will be attending Resident Camp as a Pack.  
  • All deposits need to be turned into Katrina Wachob (Webelos Den Leader).  She will also answer and questions you might have as we progress towards Akelaland!
  • Deadlines for Registration and payment is to the right under "Parent Action Items"
  • We will need 1 Adult to attend the camp for every 4 Scouts who register.
  • If we have 1-7 boys, 2 adults can stay for free, if we have 8-11 boys, 3 adults can stay for free, if we have 12-15 boys 4 adults can stay for free.
  • If we don't have enough adults for the week, we will not be able to go to camp.

Cost For Resident Camp
  • $100 for Early Registration
  • Early registration ends February 25th
  • Pack Deadline for the balance of the money is due by May 24th.  DO NOT BE LATE.
  • If you miss the deadline for the $100 deposit, your son can still go to camp as long as I have the total due by May 24th, you just don't get the discount.
  • The cost is $375 for a full week, Sunday to Friday and $295 for a mini week,Sunday to Wednesday. This includes all meals and activities.
  • For the ones who get the deposit to me by Feb 25th. you will save $25 on the cost of camp. A full week will then be $350 and a mini week will be $270.
  • If you miss the deadline for the $100 deposit, your son can still go to camp as long as I have the total due by May 24th, you just don't get the discount.
  • The $100 is NON REFUNDABLE.

General Information about this Camp
  • July 9th - July 14th
  • The camp is about an hour away off the Jim Thorpe exit.
  • There is a lake, a pool and they get to do BB guns, sling shot, archery, go for hikes, work on requirements and lots of other things.
  • Paid staff leads the fun, adult volunteers needed to supervise and heard the boys toward the proper destination, and a boat load of activities await
  • The theme is "The Search for the Holy Quail" based on the movie, The Holy Grail.
  • We get to wear costumes and go on a theme hike.  It is really fun, they did this theme a few years ago.
  • You will want to participate in this camp.  It is a blast and the staff at camp is top notch.

Additional Information
  • If there are any Lions who will become Tigers in June that are interested in going, a parent will also need to be with them the entire time.
  • There is a cost per day for the adults for meals depending on how may we have going.
  • The Webelos get to go to Pioneer Camp, which is a different section of camp and they get to learn boy scout things, cook their own meal one night and another night they get to pitch a tent and sleep there.  The rest of the time, they will join the rest of the pack for meals and evening activities.
